Welcome to the Music Parlor of the Manor. This page is dedicated to music as a whole. I prefer the genera of rock, pop and ballads, though I find certains forms of classical music a pleasure to behold. I personally prefer music from the seventies and eighties. It seems that music from that age was less, "listen to me, I'm hurting and I want to shoot myself" cr@p. Bands like Quiet Riot, Iron Maiden and the forerunners, Lep Zepplin and Pink Floyd, just seemed to exist, being true, fearless and loud. Do not misunderstand, music from this decade, such as Toni Braxton, Celine Dion, and Alanis Morrisett are enjoyable in their own unique and self determined style. But in the end, I will always depend on the "Hotal California" from the Eagles, the dreaming sounds of drums from "Africa" by Toto, or Chicago's and Journey's ballads to put my soul at ease...............................

Boston

What can I say......? A group with about twenty years of existance, four albums, and one of the best known songs of all time. The group possesses an album which is currently ranked as one of the top selling albums of rock history. The song "More than feeling" is just that.....more than a feeling.....I hope that one of the days, the group manages to produce another song of this caliber, for it is a classic...........

Journey

A group who's music is, in my meager opinion, a true elixir of romance and guitar chords. "Open Arms" and "Faithfully" are the high songs to this group that can make you re-live the truely unique moments of your life......you can forget, but they can make you remember again.........

Led Zepplin

Let's face it......there is no other. Accused of satanism up to being reckless mongers of life, these men have played a style that has become, without a shadow of a doubt, the basis and pillar for much of what we know today as rock and roll. Like a few others of their time, these men were ahead of their own time.........

Pink Floyed

Confortably numb is how this group can leave you after listening to several songs. It is clear that "The Wall" is a masterpiece all to its own, and I wonder how many others could ever hope to manage a piece of music built to be this magnitud.....strong enough to bring down barriers, there is truly no other concept as real, and enticing, as this one......"the wall"...........
